Mondial Gran Gusto is synonymous with class. The charm of pure Arabicas from Ethiopia, Indonesia, Brazill and Central America that come together in one of the richest areas of history and spiritualism in Italy, at the foot of the hills of Assisi. An Espresso Gran Gusto is harmonious, sour-free with an intense and persistent aroma. The cream is a thin uniform and compact silky veil of a very pleasant colour which fades from light hazelnut to gold. One of our favourites.
A matter of taste and pleasure
Gran Gusto is one of those Italian phrases whose meaning can take on more than a simple interpretation. Gran Gusto could refer to an exceptionally tasty Espresso. And it is certainly true when we talk about this extraordinary coffee blend.
The words Gran Gusto could also refer to the taster and the expression may be associated with the enormous pleasure that the coffee lover feels while tasting this extraordinary Espresso. This is certainly a valid interpretation, too.
We would like to add another. We like to associate it with the fun (frustrations for other) that the enthusiasts experience in tuning their equipment and extracting a first class Espresso. Mondial Gran Gusto is certainly the most complex and difficult blend in our portfolio. The grind must be perfect and tolerance is minimal. No mistake is allowed to get a great Espresso. And often, in a variable weather condition, daily adjustments of the grinder are required.

The roasting San Francesco, owner of the brand Mondial caffè, was founded in 1969 in Bastia Umbra (Umbria). It is a roasting with distinctly artisanal characteristics: the processes of roasting, mixing and tasting take place under the constant control of the founder and family.
The peculiarity of Mondial blends is wood roasting. This system, in addition to expressing a strong bond with the traditions of the territory, rich in renewable raw materials, transmit the characteristic scents and aromas that distinguish the blends of Mondial Caffè.
